Top iPhone Apps For SEO
Let’s face it, we all take our cell phones to the bathroom. No one wants to be bored in the bathroom, so what do we do? We pull out our iPhones. And for all of us SEO junkies we like to run tests, monitor and see how website traffic is going today. Here are a few great iPhone apps that we use just for this circumstance.
1. Fishead Analytics
First, why does Google not have a native Google Analytics iPhone app? Anyway, Fishead Analytics is a great Google Analytics app on the go. The app is very easy to navigate around and you don’t lose the visuals that Google Analytics povides. You can load multiple sites in your app, which is great for quick reference of client sites and how they are performing.
2. SEO Tool
SEO Tool is a great rank tracking app for the iPhone. This tool is great for tracking your top 10 keywords. This app is a manual run and takes no time at all. You can add multiple sites and is a great reference if you need to know on the road or want the info on your fingertips.
3. Koozai Web Analyzer
This app is a nice tool for quick overall analysis on a website. We use this when you look at a competitor and see how they measure up. This isn’t a robust tool set, but gives you a good baseline on the go. They haven’t updated this app in a long time and the link analysis is Majestic SEO framed into the app, but is nice to see key on page SEO elements at a glance.
4. HubSpot
The HubSpot app is similar to Koozai in many ways, but more focus on inbound marketing and evaluates your site on quite a few different levels. You run a report and they give you a score out of 100. They take everything into consideration from SEO to lead generating tools to social media. The software isn’t perfect and can give you an incorrect score, but is still extremely valuable for a mobile app.
5. SEO Automatic
SEO Automatic is a paid app that grades your web page on a technical side and on page analysis. It evaluates all of the key ranking factors for SEO and is a great tool to spy on your competitors an easily extract their HTML elements and see what they are doing. This app is not pretty, but it gets the job done.
6. Evernote
I don’t think we can go through a blog post without mentioning Evernote. Evernote is a great note taking tool that has so many mobile benefits. Bottom line, use it.
7. Positionly
We use Positionly for rank tracking and they have a great iPhone app for rank tracking and more, however this app is only valuable if you have a subscription.
8. Learn SEO by Udemy
The Learn SEO app is a great educational app for those learning about SEO. We encourage our interns and employees to learn as much as they can and always stay curious. This app helps build the foundation for your SEO knowledge.
