Track Your Progress
Check items off as you complete them. Your progress is saved in this browser so you can return to the checklist later.
Audience and Offer
Define the enquiry the website is meant to generate.
Describe the target customer, relevant service and information needed to judge fit. Make benefits specific without guaranteeing outcomes the business cannot control. Address common objections and make clear who the offer suits before asking someone to submit a form.
Conversion Paths
Make contacting the business straightforward and predictable.
Choose a clear primary action and provide alternatives appropriate to the customer's urgency. Test phone links and the full form-to-confirmation path on mobile. Explain what happens next using a response expectation the business has actually approved.
Trust and Proof
Place verified proof near important decisions.
Use approved testimonials, relevant project examples and accurate credentials. Keep claims in context and verify that permissions cover the intended use. If a guarantee exists, state its real conditions rather than adding a broad promise to make a CTA more persuasive.
Page Structure
Organize the page around buying questions.
State the service and main value clearly, then explain fit, process, evidence and next steps. Use FAQs for actual decision barriers. A visitor entering midway through the site should still understand the offer without depending on an animated hero or earlier page.
Forms and UX
Make the form usable and confirm delivery.
Collect the information needed to respond, use persistent labels and explain errors next to the relevant fields. Test mobile input, spam protection and notification routing. Confirm that a successful submission reaches the intended inbox or CRM and does not expose private data publicly.
Tracking and Optimization
Optimize for qualified enquiries rather than button clicks alone.
Track successful forms and measurable calls separately from CTA interactions. Review source, device and lead quality with the team handling enquiries. Use recordings or heatmaps only under appropriate privacy controls, and run experiments when traffic can support a meaningful comparison.
